Faros Lamp is a desk lamp that uses LED technology, designed to have a decorative as well as functional value.
The form of the object is inspired by the lighthouses and it conveys minimal aesthetics by using simple lines and having only three main parts.

The initial position of the stem is vertical, with a rotatable upper part, that creates an acute angle. Specifically, the upper part can be rotated 180 degrees clockwise so it is tilted about 60 degrees in a horizontal direction. In this way the user can easily direct the light and focus it closer to the working surface.
The control of the light is accomplished through a touch dimmer contained inside the metal base. A brief touch from the user activates the light and it can easily be switched off via a second touch.
The sandblasted glass shell is screwed to the timber, so it can be easily removed in order to change the lamp bulb.
