Fragments Of Existence
I designed this CD cover for the Debut Аlbum of a band called Fragments of Existence. Everything is done from scratch. Starting with basic concept and sketches, modeling, shading and texturing, lighting, rendering and final post production. I use a Blender 3d v2.67 and Cycles as Render engine. After all, I made the final post production in Photoshop.
Because the group was in the process of recording for the last year, I had some time to build this concept for this CD cover. I'm not a metal fan, but based on the title, lyrics and the story of this album and related to the band history I came up with the idea of different old mechanical "fragments" - parts, which are integrated in new costume collaborative structure of a "Musical Cube". Render time for each piece - 27:00 min., resolution full HD.
Fragments Of Existence is a metal band based in Sofia, Bulgaria. The band was established in November 2012. The genre is experimental/progressive/ melodic/death metal.
