ARREDO S is a furniture-set designed for Fai x Tre project, an ongoing project of a platform for diy, open-source design. The set is meant to be low-cost, easy and fast to realize, with few tools.

Quaelà is a coat rack and its shape is the same as the one of Quielì sawhorse project . The only thing that changes is the dimensions.

 

Quaelà is a foldable coat rack composed by 5 principal components. The 3 legs, the rotation axis and a piece of string.
The central leg is the rotating one, the one that allows the sawhorse to be folded. The other two are glued in parallel to the rotation axis. The string passes through the central leg and stabilizes the opening.


The three legs are designed to prevent the coat rack from moving. The round edges of each leg gives Quaelà the necessary stability while allowing for the piece of string and the height of it to vary widely.
