???WHAT to do with the WASTE???
The design is to be implemented in the Christchurch CBD; it consists of a temporary pop up garden suitable for display in various spaces due to its ease of assembling and disassembling and easy replication by the average Joe. The reasoning behind the design is to demonstrate to the general Christchurch public the potential for reuse of earthquake-demolished material. This encourages the Christchurch community to be innovative and sustainable in the process of cleaning up the city. The design also works as an exhibition with edible fruit and vegetables growing in a communal garden. In doing so symbolizing new beginnings and a positive light on a traumatic event.
