The exclusive manufactured mailing was intended to win sponsors for the University Award „Hochschulpreis David-Kopf“, which donates 10.000 Euro every year to an outstanding master thesis in the food industry. After rebranding the „Hochschulpreis“ in 2014 with an identity based on the myth of David versus Goliath, the new brand was communicated to universities, graduates and in this case to sponsors as well. Inspired by ancient battlefields, near to the myth of David versus Goliath, rough and natural paper which remind of stones and dust were used. The created envelope has to be opened with attitude, like the momentum of David when he uses his slingshot. The revealed brochure has then all needfull information to address and convince the carefully selected sponsors. Envelope and brochure work with a connected headline system to underline the link between the myth and the input by a sponsor. „Stones need momentum“ was the first seen headline on the envelope which was completed after the opening with „ideas need promoter“.
