The Task
Beaver’s Tail creates and distributes healthy, affordable school meals. Ordered and paid for online and delivered fresh to school. Beaver’s Tail knows that finding the time and inspiration to shop and prepare food isn’t always easy.
Beaver’s Tail mission is to create, make, pack and deliver a Menu of the highest quality at the most affordable price.
What we’ve discovered along the way is that there are all sorts of needs to be met – gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and nut free.
The Solution
Our task was to create a brand that was not only friendly for kids but also something that parents can trust. We created the beaver, a friendly character that parents and kids could both recognise as a friendly brand icon. The Beaver's Tail identity features a custom typeface designed to fit perfectly with the beaver character.
Our next task was to create a online purchasing platform that was developed as a AngularJS App. The design needed to represent the whole look and feel that Beaver's Tail embodies, it features bold colours, clean typography and simple illustrations. Parents can select from a healthy range of lunches, fresh rolls, sushi and snacks. They can Pre-order for a day or for a whole term and take the hassle out of healthy affordable lunches.
