New York Times Infographic
As part of a workshop taught by Nick Felton, we were asked to create an infographic design by taking a section of the New York Times and condensing it to one page 11 x 22. The infographic was meant to represent the selected section through a theme or question.
As a group, Phillip Glenn, Yeojin Kwon (both RISD BFA Graphic Design 2017) and I chose the 'Sunday Style' section. We concentrated on the relationship between the photos, contents, and objects that are shown and written. We've created boxes of texts, photos, and ads then laid out in one page. Next step was to count selected objects, based on the term 'fashion', to see the relationship between those and the entire section and articles.
