"Truth, Fantasy and Fiction" Photoshoot.

For my A level Exam module, the board have set a title named "Truth, Fantasy and Fiction". I have always tried to make art, and debate themes, that are personal to me so I will work most passionately towards them.

My inspiration for this project is androgyny (the fusion and blurred lines of genders) and drag (the impersination of women, by men, as enterainment and, often regarded, as an art form). Before the photo shoot, I began to brainstorm ideas for references so I could sculpt the looks and compose them before we began the day of work, the plan and rough ideas has been scanned in below...
After completing the photoshoot on February 14th, I have filtered through 160 photo's taken to pick my favourite 20, assorting them into the types of composition that I have created roughly made in the plan. I will eventually filter through these further to obtain the top three or four photographs to paint for my exam. None of these photo's have been edited, they are taken raw from the studio. I collaborated with some friends who take A level Photograph / interested in makeup art to pull the look together, these three people involved in the production are...

Myself, who dealt in the artistic vision and aiding in composition for the  shots.
Kelly Roadaway, who took the photographs and adjusted lighting.
Bella Organ, who helped in the painting of my face with makeup.
