Founders of the Isla Foundation, which spreads awareness about the many sugar cane plantation workers who are losing their lives because of the heavy pesticides used to grow the sugar cane. That is why the village where the families of the sugar cane plantation is called the "Island of Widows." Many families have lost their husbands and fathers, and the Isla Foundation is trying to promote the use of organic growing, so we can prevent more lives being lost.
