All throughout college I was struggling with my self branding. In my last year at APU I started writing down things about myslef, sketching my name and initals, then finally found a concept that I could roll with. I love nature/ wood and triangles are my favorite shape, so I started to sketch my initials with those ideas in mind. I figured out that a generic tree could be turned into a G, L, and F (Gio Lionel Flores). I added a circle as well to represent that I am well rounded in art and design. I decided to add the wood behind it on my resume and portfolio to go with the tree. Not to mention the wood was a table top that I created and stained myself, just adding to emphasize that I have a huge passion for all things creative. And what is more creative than the earth and the gift of life?
