For this Abstract Design project I focused on the Bauhausian principle of focusing on the process of the work rather than the final outcome. I started by creating collages and designing from them to develop a final line up. I also experimented with print design and silhouette manipulation. From there I chose the best design to carry forward into pattern cutting and making. Each step carried me forward into the next step and at each step I developed and experimented to push the designs further. Throughout the project I took inspiration from varied places including the Dada Art movement, various artists and found imagery.
