These photos were taken during a short trip to Myanmar.
The country seems to be pervaded by a sense of uncertainty, people are willing to hope for a better future but they don't seem to be accustumed to happy endings. They are not miserable at all, they are very proud, smart, welcoming and despite their political background, very open minded, but still a sense of uncertainty pervades the country. The atmosphere is still and sospended and some places seem lost back in time.
