PROJECT 3: COLLAGE.
For this project, I had to use my Adobe Photoshop skills to make a collage that tells a story about me. First of all, there are many cat faces in this and some are hidden... so good luck finding them. :) The background is Zodiac signs (Zodiac signs are star constellations. The Zodiac signs are: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.) I'm really into the whole astrology and star constellation thing so that's why I chose it as my background.

I chose cat faces not only because I like cats and own cats, my nickname/name I like to go by is Kat. There's 10 cat faces from the internet and 1 porcelain Siamese cat picture that I took myself. I used 2 male faces from the interent for the Gemini sign. (two twins) They weren't needed but it was a last minute "haha this looks funny" decision. I used 5 pictures of myself (2 with important people in my life) and 1 was required to be black and white. I used the one of me holding my camera to symbolize my love for taking pictures. The one of me making the creepy face is another last minute "haha this looks funny" decision.

The bottom left picture is my boyfriend, me, and his best friend. They've been in my life for a few months now and they mean the world to me. The one towards the top in the middle is me and my best friend. We've known each other for almost 7 years. The picture of the acrylic ink jars at the top symbolizes my love for painting. I use that brand of acrylic ink for water color painting and drawing. The picture of the blue "evil eye" has always interested me. It is apart of the Turkish religion and it is for protection. I have one above my bedroom door. The picture of the dream catcher with the cat faces in the webbing is very important to me. My dad taught me how to make them so when he passed away, I carried on the hobby. The last picture I added was the crescent moon and lady picture. I love the moon and I thought the picture was sweet.

I used the following on the pictures above:
*Healing Brush tool for acne.
*Dodge tool to brighten eyes and teeth.
*Horizontal Type tool for my career major and name.
*Crop tool for all the pictures.
*Quick selection tool on some of the photos.
*Lasso tool on some of the photos I couldn't quick select.
*Edit/Stroke for borders around the pictures.
