Banjodoline Virtual Banjo and Mandolin VST Plug-in

Banjodoline Virtual Banjo & Mandolin VST VST3 Audio Unit: Virtual Banjo, Mandolin, Mandocello, Mandola, Banjolin, Octave and Electric Mandolins
Banjodoline is a Virtual Banjo and Mandolin VST, VST3 and Audio Unit plugin software, including a Mandocello, Mandola, Octave Mandolin, Banjolin and Electric Mandolin fretted stringed instruments emulation. Available in VST 32 bit and 64 bit and VST3 64 bit versions for Windows / Audio Unit, VST and VST3 for macOS. Also available in EXS24 and KONTAKT Sample Libraries.

Features

• Quick loader to select between different instruments:

Ø  01  Mandolin
Ø  02  Mandolin Tremolo
Ø  03  Archtop Mandolin
Ø  04  Mandocello
Ø  05  Mandola
Ø  06  Octave Mandolin
Ø  07  Electric Mandolin
Ø  08  Banjolin
Ø  09  Tenor Banjo
Ø  10  Plectrum Banjo
Ø  11  Banjolele Banjo Uke
Ø  12  5-String Banjo

• ADSR envelope generator with Attack, Sustain, Decay and Release parameters:
Ø Attack determines the time it takes for the note to get to the maximum level.
Ø Decay determines the time it takes for the note to go from the maximum level to the sustain level (controlled by Sustain).
Ø Sustain determines level the sound is played at while the note is held (after the other envelope states, Attack and Decay, have been completed).
Ø Release determines the time it takes for the note to fall from the sustain level to zero (silence) level when it is released.

• Pitch Bend: The Pitch Bend knob directly changes the pitch of the selected instrument.
Ø Pitch Bend center position: is normal pitch.
Ø Pitch Bend down: Specifies the amount of pitch change that will occur when the pitch bend/modulation lever is moved to the left.
Ø Pitch Bend up: Specifies the amount of pitch change that will occur when the pitch bend/modulation lever is moved the right.

• Low-Frequency Oscillator Controls: These knobs apply LFO modulation to the selected instrument. Use the ‘Rate’ (Frequency) and ‘Depth’ (Amplitude) knobs to adjust the LFO effect as required. By using the LFO to modulate various aspects of the audio signal, you can apply effects such as vibrato or tremolo.

• Virtual Reverb Room built-in: free variation of acoustic ambience thanks to complete separation of organ and room. Small rooms can be modeled as well as large spaces.

• Filter Type. Combo box to switch between the following options:
Ø Low Pass (LPF): a filter that passes signals with a frequency lower than a certain cutoff frequency and attenuates signals with frequencies higher than the cutoff frequency.
Ø High Pass (HPF): a filter that passes signals with a frequency higher than a certain cutoff frequency and attenuates signals with frequencies lower than the cutoff frequency.
Ø None: No filter is applied.
Ø Cutoff Frequency Filter: Sets the cutoff frequency for the low pass and high pass filters.

• Amplitude Range Controls: The sensitivity level is set by the user:
Ø Amplitude range (low) - sets amplitude range, lower bound (dB)
Ø Amplitude range (high) - sets amplitude range, upper bound (dB)

• Volume: Adjusts the volume of the instrument.

• Pan: Set the panning of the instrument. Adjusts the stereo pan position of the signal output, which determines how much of signal is sent to the left and right channels.
Features

- Mode Selector to switch between fretted stringed instruments:

 - Mandolin
 - Mandolin Tremolo (Tremolo Picking)
 - Octave Mandolin
 - Tremolo Octave Mandolin
 - Banjo
 - Banjolin
 - Electric Mandolin

- Multimode Filter. The use of values automatically computed by a multi-mode filter gives a wide range of interesting tones. Filter switch includes: LP (Low pass), HP (High pass), BP1 CSG (Band pass 1, constant skirt gain), BP2 C0PG (Band pass 2, constant 0db peak gain), Notch (Band-stop/Band-rejection) filters with adjustable Resonance and Cutoff Frequency range extends up to Nyquist. Gain Compensation option for LP, HP and BP1 filter types.

- ADSR envelope generator. Attack, Sustain, Decay and Release parameters and several modulation targets.
Tremolo Section: Contains a LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) with modulation depth, frequency and offset. This creates a kind of a “trembling” sound.

- FULL MIDI Automation: Complete MIDI Continuous Controller. You can use this to automate parameter changes from a sequencer, or to control your synthesizers from an external MIDI control surface.
The octave mandolin (US and Canada), termed the octave mandola in Britain and Ireland and mandola in continental Europe, is a fretted string instrument with four pairs of strings tuned in fifths, G, D, A, E (low to high), an octave below a mandolin.

The mandolin-banjo is a hybrid instrument, combining a banjo body with the neck and tuning of a mandolin and it has been independently invented in more than one country, being called banjolin and banjourine in English speaking countries, banjoline and bandoline in France, and the Cümbüş in Turkey.
