Symphony Cover Series are the semester works of my university's specialist Course. For this work we need to design a CD Cover with our own interest. My work is a symphony cover series, in order to design a simple CD-Cover that make tthe people recognize the name of symphony, orchestra, conductor sooner.
The idea is very simple, i will only put the name of symphony, orchestra and conductor with a simple illustration on the cover, nothing else.
The cover will be balck&white, and for the illustration i used the sound wave data of the symphony and tried to twist them into different form. For example, mahler's symphonie no.7 &8 are both very slow and smoothy for me, just like a growing plant, therefore i use the form of leaves of water lily to present the feeling of it.
CD Package is also used a special design in order to save the paper. The total size of this cover is A3 and i cut nothing from this paper, what ive done is only fold it and cut two lines in order to put the CD in it.

交响乐CD系列封面是我的大学专业课的一门课程作业。这个作业的主题是任选一个你喜欢的音乐去制作其CD封面。我的设计是设计一套具有设计感的专辑封面，可以让人们更快去辨别交响乐，乐团和指挥家的名称，因为在现实中的专辑封面设计中这些部分的设计都很不合理。
设计的方式很简单，我仅仅将这三者的名字放在了专辑的封面中，配以一个简单的插画，然后仅仅使用黑白来表现，来达到突出主题的目的。
插画我则选用的该交响乐的声波文件，并将其扭曲成特定的形状。例如马勒第7，8交响曲，其风格非常平缓安静，就像生长的植物一样，于是我选用了睡莲叶的形状对声波文件进行了扭曲。
CD包装也采用特殊设计，以节省材料为目的：整个封面仅由一张A3纸制成，并没有剪裁其他任何部分，我做的仅仅是将封面进行折叠和刻出两条线以便装入CD。
