s a website dedicated to reviving old, obscure, and downright weird words that aren't really used in everyday conversation anymore. I randomly selected the word "Fumificate" and designed a typographic poster depicting the word along with the definition. By varying the color in my type, I portray what looks like a cigarette at the bottom of the poster. I then hand lettered the definition of the word, and warped it to create the impression of a wisp of smoke. I drew much of my inspiration for this project from psychedelic art of the 1970's.
