Design Concept
This project is in deed a meaningful one for us to review the fading cultures and objects that surround us, that we almost ignored them in our daily living due to busy work and fast-changing technologies and styles. The process of describing the basic information of Dragon's beard candy and reinterpret my definition and feelings towards Dragon's beard candy were interesting and meaningful, the outcome was also satisfactory, not only in terms of aesthetic, but how the publication can transmit the message to the audience and recall their memories towards some fading cultures that they came across in their childhood.
I would like to remind people about the traditional folk snacks by the publication, further remind them about their own childhood memories which were ignore by them, due to the modern living styles and the fast-changing technologies and products. I hope this publication can recall people's respect and values towards traditional Chinese folk snacks, and how they respect the experience and techniques of traditional hawkers and craft-mans.
