The core target audience for the Skoda Octavia are "life managers", or people who balance the responsibilities of work, family and personal life simultaneously. In 2008, discussion/debate about Google streetview was reaching critical mass around Europe and was a relatively new phenomena. The Octavia 360 streetview campaign was meant to capitalize on the conversation by building a campaign around the familiar streetview camera angle and the "social stunts" where people would show up on the camera in mid-action. A multiple award winning integrated campaign was developed with the idea that in life, there is always something going on.
