Painting & Computers
 

As a painter Im used to mixing paints, strectching canvas, and of course painting pictures. This is what I'm used and its what I enjoy. Aside from painting, I work quite a bit on the computer, using programs like Photoshop and Illustrator. The common connection between the painting and digital is that they are both means for creativity, but the approach in which one creates differs between the two. That is to say Ive noticed extreme differences in the creative process of both painting and computers. To explore that concept, I have focused specifically on creating works using the computer and I have seeked to create an asethetic largely different from my usual approach to painting. I have set aside the brush and moved on to the mouse. These works are the results of those clicks.
