Orchard Pig | Re-brand + Re-packaging

Orchard Pig is a craft cider who want to change their brand to become notorious and mischievous. In this rebrand a new logo and colour palette has been created. The master logo is designed to highlight the pig’s snout, which is one of the most iconic features of a pig. 3 logo variations are spread across the 3 craft ciders with each holding a slightly different shade of pink that is unique to that cider. This colour palette follows onto the snout on the bottom of the bottle along with the colour of straw and typography.

The bottle design has been developed to show a potbelly like look to symbolise the shape of a pig with a smaller top for practicality.

Beer mats have been designed in the shape of pigs heads with the snout engraved for the bottle bottom to fit comfortably within. The colours on the beer mats match those colours on the bottles.

Packaging has been designed to look like the bottles are enclosed within a pig pen.
The advertising campaign for this new branding is firmly based in the idea of the pig snout. When the bottle is drunk from it gives the impression of the consumer having a snout. This is the same case when the bottle is drunk from via a straw. The hash tag #SwigOfThePig would be used for people to upload photos of them with a pig snout to help create an online buz.
