Rascals Brewing Company is an independently owned craft beer brewery in Dublin. The Rascal’s mission is to continually brew many different styles of beer and to bring something new and exciting to the Irish craft beer scene. The beers all have cheeky names with a descriptive and conversational quality. The concept is based on snippets of Dublin pub chat - Think Rascally thoughts!
With this in mind they commissioned me to create a new brand identity, advertising material, tap graphics, along with kick-starting the look of the first beer cans in a way that can be easily adapted to their future flavours. We decided to make the funky beer names stand out against bright backgrounds, giving a high impact.
I used local Dublin snippets of conversation as a backdrop for promotional material and advertising to link the brand directly with the audience. Speaking their language!
