D.P.M. - DISRUPTIVE PATTERN MATERIAL

This pattern was created from picking up a leaf at random from the pavement. Using a roller, I covered the leaf's surface with black ink and then press printed the leaf onto paper, as you can see in one of the below images. Having done multiple experiments and processes, I then scanned the image onto photoshop, adjusted the tones and colours, and then exported onto illustrator. I copied and pasted the same leaf over and over again changing its size and colour to give it a nice coloration. 

Overall there must be over 60 of the same leaves in each swatch, all resized and recoloured.
