Chô Chô
Brand Identity & Illustration
I worked with Chô Chô, a company that specializes in handcrafted designer clothing and accessories for children to create illustrations used in developing the identity for their packaging, display, and online presence. The client wanted to create an identity that reflected their artistic aesthetic and tell stories along with their products. We found a common interest in The Brothers Grimm's Fairy Tales and I created a series of contemporary takes on some of these stories. Each one stands on its own as an illustration, but keeps a unifying tone through the use of the handmade aesthetic I developed. I created images that appealed to a parent's sense of nostalgia, while keeping them simple enough so that a child could understand the scene represented.
