전 세계에 자신의 바다를 가지고있는 해적들이라면 모두 출전할수있다.
그렇게 모인 수십의 해적선단들이 전설로 내려오는 바다가 주는 7가지의 시련을 이겨내고
마지막까지 남게되는 해적선의 주인이 50년간 바다의 새로운 주인이 된다.
이 대회에 참가하는 것은 바다에 살고 바다에 죽는 해적들에게는 최고의 영예인 동시에 50년에 단 한번뿐인
해적들의 최고의 축제인것이다. 대회가 개최되는 기간 내에는 해적들의 모든 약탈행위와 다른 선단과의 분쟁행위를 금지한다.
이를 어길시 실격처리 된다.이 대회에서 바다가 주는 시련을 이겨내지못하고 탈락하는것은 영예로운 일이지만
실격처리 되는것은 해적에겐 씻을수없는 가장 큰 수치로 남겨진다.

Once in 50 years, a competition to decide the owner of the ocean is held.
Any pirate with a high reputation in their territory can participate.
Dozens of fleets of pirate ships go through the seven legendary ordeals that the ocean gives, and the last surviver can be the owner of the ocean for 50 years.
