While I poured myself a cup of tea and let it brew for 3-5 minutes as per the instructions, I went to grab a bottle of milk from the fridge. It was at this moment I discovered the world would never be the same again...

 

Just kidding. What I did notice was the very familiar packaging of Dawn Milk, a household name for god knows how many years. This is when I took it upon myself to mockup a new logo for the dairy giants, complimented with a minimal milk bottle concept.

I wanted to keep the logo as close to the original as possible to maintain the history that exists with the brand, but still feel as though there was a noticeable change if that makes sense.

 

The colours were toned down compared to the original for example, doing so with respect to todays modern colour palettes we see around us. I also incorporated the rising sun of Dawn, giving it a better sense of hierarchy if you like, while adding the fluid lines of the distant hills which too can be found in the original Dawn logo.
