• Preservation and enhancement of historic assets in the centre of Towcester;

• Regeneration of the town centre through appropriate new mixed development; and

• Provision of improved facilities to support the planned residentialgrowth of the town.

The project aims to reintegrate the Moat Lane area into the town centre with refurbishment of existing buildings, the construction of new buildings, restoration of Bury Mount and the provision of high quality public realm throughout. It envisages very varied mixed use development including retail space, cafés, community facilities, workspace and housing. It will include additional car parking in a new decked structure on the existing Northampton Road site.
