Inspiration for the packaging expanded on the ideas of dual use and recycling. There is a lot of waste produced in package design. The goal was to create a design that offered the consumer the option to transform the package from a hanging package to a screwdriver holder that could be placed on a shelf. The screw packaging also acts as its own holder in the sense that the consumer could buy the box of screws, break the seal, and place
it on the shelf for future use. Dual's packaging is not as aggressive and bold as its competition, making it more appealing to new customers.
