N.A.T.P.L.E. - non a tutti piace l'erba

A LAWN FOR ONE MONTH
The Natple project has temporary revitalized a forgotten square, in the centre of Florence, through the installation of 2000 square metres of real turf. This has created a new scene for the city, a strange new vision of the urban landscape with a beuyssian social sculpture, a big green oasi instead of an enormous empty of concrete. Not an art work to observe, but a garden as symbol of semplicity and nature. The intent was been to give new life to Piazza Ghiberti, today neglected by people, transforming it in a place of meeting, a project aimed to regive the people space’s to people who live there valuing the surrounding social reality through the rebirth of the square. Children, teens and adults, all in the same place because nature is life for everyone. The project rapresents the dimostration that we can do it. In one night 40 guys are succeeded to do what the local amministration hasn’t done in six years. 53000 kg of grass gifted to the city as reflection occasion about social and cultural conditions of Florence, too much careful to maintain integral her past to don’t see hat during the reinassance everything was produced was exactly a costant research of art, science and contemporary culture, that is about own time.
