This past year I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Tennent's, Scotland's favourite Lager. They were looking for some Glasgow based designers or Illustrators to work up some new & fresh designs to be sold in their store. I was lucky enough to be approached & given the chance to pitch some ideas.

 

The brief was pretty open ended, just something that represented the band in a new way, not currently seen in the store on their merchandise and that would look good on some apparel. I went in with four ideas for them (see below for the failed ideas I pitched). They eventually went with this cool pattern idea I drew up.

 

I took the lovely Tennent's logo and hand rendered it, then multiplied it to make a zany pattern, dropping the colour out of it bar one single icon in the bottom right hand corner. 

 

Great project for a great brand I love. Hope you like.
