Making the Most of Creative Struggles- D&AD, Wetransfer

This project was lucky enough to be awarded a graphite pencil for the 2015 D&AD brief in associuation with Wetransfer.
All 24 of the self promotional packages sent to creative places and people I would love to work with. On the reverse of each personalised package is a segment of a larger self portrait. The idea being that now each recipient has a part to play in me becoming the illustrator and designer that I'm aiming to be.

An animation illustrating in a little more detail the hang ups and concerns I had with my working practice, which, by making aproject a bout it, I've worked through and gained some success.
A sample of the front facing part of the personalised packages.
The reverse of the outer sleeve for the self promotional leaflets. Each Package has a personalised front and an individual design on the reverse which creates a full image when put together.

The inner sleeve holds the promotional leaflet in place and also allowed me to leave a little joke through the changing of 'Hello' to 'Here's a little something'. Plus the changing of my face to something a little more stupid.
The inner part of the sleeve also shows a repeating jungle themed pattern through out it.
The leaflet spread out shows the concerns I have had with my work and what I've aimed to do in order to break out of this issue. The project is very much about me learning from and using my concerns to better sell myself as an illustrator and designer and concentrate on looking forward with my career.
The reverse of the leaftlet shows a few aspects that I wantmy illustrative work to concentrate on having.
The final part of the inner sleeve has a small message explaing about the project and that each package is personalised to the recipient as well as link to the animation and my online portfolio.
Some choice clips from the animation project.
