利用臺灣的玉里石-歷久歸來-作為發想的主軸,以相聚為主要的思考脈絡。並參考其舊稱:「璞石」,宛如多年不見之老友,在舊地重逢,隱喻熟識朋友許久不見相遇於此地之歡愉,同時嵌入石燈籠的擬人特質。期望利用其擬人可愛的造型及濃濃人情味的背景氣息,形塑臺灣玉里那一股樸實卻兼具文化的意象。
 
YULI has a deep cultural background dating back to the times when it was called  PUSHI, and this design is based on the idea of the reunion of YULI and PUSHI, just like two old friends meeting together travelled through times and spaces, enjoying the precious moment.
One symbolic icon---the cute human-like character of stone lamp is added to the design, making a more pure and hospitable image of YULI.
