Le Marché Cafe

Le Marché Cafe is a gourmet neighborhood café located in Miami, proudly serving carefully selected pastries and eats sourced locally and baked onsite. With a cozy interior inspired by traditional Parisian cafés, the space features warm wooden accents, rustic urban flares and a rich mix of textures.

I was invited to develop the brand identity, print collaterals and menu board. With a large variety of brand touchpoints ranging from digital to print to packaging applications, three variations of the logo were developed for maximum versatility. The brand emblem is a customized logotype featuring a medium weight sans-serif construction paired with blunt serifs. Inspired by both vintage labels and modern sans serif aesthetics, the logo is a marriage of both these inspirations. The customized accent on the 'E' is a signature element much like a hand-written calligraphic flare that is carried into the circular monogram.

The brand palette features an accent red-orange that hopes to stimuate appetite. Associated with feelings of happiness and warmth, the vivid colour is used throughout brand applications. With the interior design centered around earthy, wood browns and neutral tones, the bold red helps to emphasize on brand elements even in the busiest contexts.
