Moda Events Portside had hosted a public New Years Eve event since 2009.  Being situated on the top floor of Portside Wharf certainly gave fabulous views of the exclusive Portside Wharf fireworks display at 9pm and midnight... Always sure to impress.

Guest numbers varied between 400 to 800 and each year this 4.5 hour cocktail package featured varied and unique entertainment together with food and beverage package. We arranged private buses for guests after the event transporting them safely from Portside into either The Valley or the CBD.

We marketed and co-ordinated the event completely inhouse together with online ticketing from our website. Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns were also done by us together with all social media promotion linking back to a strong overall digital strategy.
2011 NYE event concept was DEADLY SINS.... Our most successful event of them all. People were certainly attracted to the "naughty" under tone of the theme because we could have sold the event twice it was so popular
2012 NYE event concept was MUSICOLOGY.... Emphasis on music through the ages and it was all about the music that year... Lots of dancing was had
2013 NYE event concept was BLACK & WHITE WITH A TOUCH OF BRIGHT.... Guests had so much fun with this theme costume wise and it was also a sell out.
2014 NYE event concept was 50 SHADES OF COLOUR.... The food shon on the night and the fireworks were particularly good that year
2015 NYE event concept was CRUISE CARNIVALE.... We flew up international DJ Kitty Glitter for this one together with having two drag shows on the night and never before seen market style food stalls arranged. Due to some last minute air conditioning issues we devestatingly had to move our guests to Emporium for the actual event despite conceptualising the event for 5 months prior! Our guests still had a fabulous night
Every year the firework displays at both 9pm and midnight on the Brisbane river in front of Portside Wharf played a HUGE role in the night. Our guests had an excellent view from our private balcony.
Facebook and Instagram promotion was our main form of promotion for all our New Years Eve events. I ran years worth of Facebook advertising campaigns and various digital strategies were used with very little paid advertising.
