The exhibition shows creative design solutions for people with dementia. The work was presented in the North Rhine Medical Association in Dusseldorf. The main idea of the exhibition was the sticky note, as symbol for a reminder which helps in the first stadium of dementia in your daily life. All sticky notes are written by relatives of dementia patiens.
The exhibits which are presented are from different design fields such as photograpy, architecture, urban design
and editorial design.

Since 2014 the University of Applied Sciences Dusseldorf has an interdisciplinary research program for people with dementia called nutzerwelten. The expert team comprising colleagues from the faculties Media, Social- and Cultural Sciences, Design
and Electrical Engineering. Its goal is User-Centered Design of technology-enhanced environments for people with dementia. Many research endeavors in the area of ambient assisted living follow a technology push and neglect the impact of solutions on the quality of life of the users. Especially people with dementia are rarely involved in the design and evaluation of new technical-spatial solutions. www.nutzerwelten.de/en/nutzerwelten/
