Given a project exploring found objects and their functionalities, I decided to repurpose the everyday power strip into an organizer. By attaching individual adapters to containers, the strip becomes a flexible product for organizing various items on the wall. The adapters are able to stack behind each other, even further expanding the possibilities in organization. (Keychain with keys plugged into an already-existing container: shown in image)
The cord is plugged into the strip itself and becomes a hook for watches, hair ties, jewelry, etc.
The act of "plugging in" is already very familiar with most people, thus making this product easily translated for users. (10/2015)
