Raiffeisen commercial

This is a spot me and two other students of my university did for a non-profit organisation named AKRAT based in Bozen/Bolzano in South Tyrol. The aim of this clip is to explain viewers in a very short amount of time ( 1.10 min ) what Akrat
substantially does. We decided to represent this by making exaclty what is made in the Akrat workshops but this time without any people on the screen, so that the message focuses more on the work itself and simplifies the visual understanding. For the video we shot 638 pictures which then where in part photoshopped and assembled in premier. This project took us almost 1 month including the forniture building, the shooting, the preparing of the pieces and the postproduction.

In the end the commercial was screened in Raiffeisen branches in Bolzano/Bozen which supported Akrat recycling.

What is AKRAT?
Akrat Recycling is a place at which craftsmanship meets imagination, creativity, sense of innovative concepts and solutions, as well as professional experience in these areas. Akrat Recycling is finally a place where people of different cultural and social backgrounds come together to work on  a project of sustainability, solidarity work and the conscious consumption of work. Working with old and broken fornitures donated by people of the town, the helpers give those items a second life and reduce waste by upcycling what for other is something which belongs to the trash.
