A woven piece of cloth created on a dobby handloom drawing inspiration from mosque tiles. The patterns and the colours build the mood as well as set the context for the weaves as they have been repeated to recreate the beautiful effect of mosaic.
 
The contrast in weaves adds texture to the piece, showcasing the various layers that Islamic architecture has to it. It also represents the interaction between different weaves coming together to create a handloom product.
