Vagus references slab serif typefaces and was influenced by Clarendon, Serifa, and Courier. Vagus
has a large x-height echoing that found in Helvetica. The large x-height increases legibility and emphasizes the bold nature of the typeface. Individual glyphs have distrinct curves that create unique bowls and counters. The shapes of the characters give off a futuristic feeling. The strokes, stems, and shoulders work together to portray a sense of drama while remaining fun and interesting to view and read.
