Client
The client is a prominent and well known manufacturer of baked goods and delicacies from the port city of Braila, Romania. With a long tradition of family made and tested recipes their bakery is a well known go-to for quality and delicious goods. The desire was to expand and match their tasty baked goods with a quality beverage. "Savoare de Cafea" is the name for the brand of roasted single origin coffee.
Project Goals
Our brief had the following goals:
1. Illustrate that there is an entire process involved in making the coffee.
2. Roasting the coffee takes care, time, patience and attention.
3. Separate the brand image and feel from commercial coffee brands by pointing out that it is a craft with tradition.
Creative Solution.
After exploring combinations of coffee beans and multiple industrial elements we refocused our attention from the raw material to the experience of drinking coffee. We wanted to take the coffee cup and show the consumer that behind the simple and tasty coffee he is drinking there is an entire manufacturing process. So was born the brands unique icon. We took it further by incorporating the name and bringing it together in a classic style to inspire the long tradition behind the process.
