D.LAB
D.LAB is an office building intended for Jakarta digital startups. It was part of SMDV, a venture capital investment company backed by Sinar Mas.
Alongside with their mission to be the destination for Indonesia entrepreneur, D.LAB was built to encourage a creative and collaborative working culture. This inspired the design direction to achieve a sleek and modern atmosphere with a touch of geeky nuance. We came up with the idea to explore binary number — a numerical system used in digital processing consist of only “1” and “0”.
