2014, wood, seed paper, berry ink, paper
In The Planted Gallery, I ask the viewer to participate in the action of the piece. They create tiny art upon the seeded paper, painted in ink made from berries. In the culmination of the piece, the gallery will be flipped upon its face, and the art displayed upon it, and will be buried in dirt filling its larger rear compartment. Their work in turn creates life, but is consumed and disappears in the process.
