The brief of this classroom assignment was to design packaging for a range of jams, consisting of 4 flavours - Pineapple, Orange, Strawberry & Mixed Fruit. The points that I had to keep in mind, as advised by my subject faculty, was that the focus had to be on the natural freshness and organic nature of the fruits that would be used for the jams. Thus, whatever design direction I would choose to go for, I had to make sure that the intrinsic qualities of the fruits would shine through in the packaging.
