Initiated by Pixel[13] (France) and Among the Ants (Greece / Cyprus), KAOS is an interdisciplinary project that took place in november 2015 in the urban environment of Athens between french and greek artists from different artistic backgrounds. Artists were invited to share their personal approach and work collectively on issues of urban transformation and creative intervention in public spaces.
During seven (7) days, the participants have worked collaboratively, experiment with various art forms, interact with people living in the area and produce site-specific acts as the result of the process.
The idea of KAOS is to become a map of expression on thoughts, doubts and ideas.
KAOS project took place in Stratonikis and Koulouri Square (Keirameikos/Athens/GR) from 2015 nov 28th to 2015 dec 5th.

We are 11 people.
Six people come from France and five from Athens.
Every one of us is involved in artistic, social and street activism.
It's few and it's a lot.
We will stay in Athens for 10 days for this project.
It's short and it's a lot.
Our project is called kaos.
So you imagine we don't really know what it will look like.
We want to share ideas.
We want to learn about each other and try to do things together.
We will certainly speak about France, Greece, Europe, future, hope and fears, about banks and life, about art in the streets.
We have this little place, in square Koulouri as a "playground".
We are perfect strangers and hope not to be invaders but visitors.
We hope to meet you and understand a bit more about this neighboorood:

About how art and poetry can find a modest place and help this meeting to happen.
