Art in Everything
Art in Everything is a fictional arts education advocacy campaign for Graphic Design 2 at Northeastern University. Art in Everything advocates arts education through the comparison of art with other core subjects and exhibiting how the arts and other subjects benefit and relate to one another. The goal of the semester long project was to create a social cause campaign with visual components including logo, poster series, website for the campaign.
I chose to compare mathematical and scientific concepts that were also used in the arts. By comparing the three seemingly disparate subjects, it proves that there is overlap between these subjects and that students can have as many "valuable" lessons from the arts as they can from more "hard" subjects.
The website is meant to be used primarily as a source for advocates, educators, and parents. The website features classroom guides and curriculums, real teacher and classroom examples of successful programs, and outlet for news about the program.
