My entry for the Folio Society and House of Illustration competition 2016, a cover and a series of three illustrations to "War Horse" by Michael Morpurgo.
I had a lot of fun working of these drawings - I love horses and the history of World War I.
Below, you'll find the finished drawings, my moodboard and thumbnails.
I went for a limited palette and a minimalistic style to compliment the harsh reality of the titulary War Horse, Joey.
