La scienza del cioccolato

Food science is fundamental in our daily life even though we don't really notice. The aim of this magazine spread is to show its role through the analysis of a chocolate candy as everyone knows and appreciates it and as it is small and apparently very simple, but in fact hides a story in itself.

In order to achieve accurate information we have worked with a scientific partner, Matteo Scampicchio, professor of food technology. During the visual process to find the final style, we have worked on different tryouts with food photography.

The spread was designed for the magazine Focus Italia and follows its rules about some features of the layout.
