The audience for this audio design project is elementary school children. I designed this project so that the children can connect with the characters and how they help one another toward the common goal of staying safe from the dangers life may throw at them. It is my role as the designer to create an audio world where children can picture themselves in the story without actually seeing anything. As the designer, I created and performed all of the narration, music and foley for this project.
Seeing as though this project was strictly audio design, all my work was done in Garageband. For this project, I tracked the narration first as multiple tracks and once edited and timed accordingly, I merged to create one final narration track.
With the narration track complete, I performed and recorded three guitar tracks to give the project depth and feel. Lastly, I tracked the the foley for the project, which includes running water, branches breaking, beans being poured into a pan, etc.
