Frank Benaderet serves as the president of GreenQuest Builders in San Francisco, California, and oversees the company in offering construction services with an emphasis on innovative design. Outside his professional obligations, Frank Benaderet coaches youth baseball and sponsors the Babe Ruth League. In 2001, the league established a college scholarship to help high school students continue their education.

The Babe Ruth League College Scholarship supports students who participated in Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth League softball or baseball teams between the ages of 4 and 18. Scholarships provide a one-time award of $1,000, funded through donations and the proceeds of the annual Babe Ruth League Alumni Golf Outing.

Recipients are selected according to criteria that include academic achievement, community involvement, and participation in extra-curricular activities. In addition, students must complete a 200-word essay on how participating in the Babe Ruth program affected their life. Students must also submit high school transcripts and be in their senior year of high school or already attending college at the time of submission. The Babe Ruth League accepts applications annually with a deadline of June 30.
