Breakspaces
Inspired by the philosophy of Buddhism of emptiness and co-existence. This project aims to map out various quiet spaces that exist within the busiest district of Singapore, the Central Business District.

The entire project is divided into two main phases, namely:
Phase one looks into the charting of these quiet spaces as well as rating them on the scale of 1 - 5. 1 being the noisiest whilst 5 being the quietest.
A map was created to chart the locations, a travel guidebook with further elaboration on the information of the location, several photo journals and a series of mini brochure.
Phase two looks into both audio and video recording of how time plays a part in changing the aural qualities of a location. There is also the intention to further chart other new locations in other districts.

Each location is later categorised into two main categories, namely Public spaces and Private/ Commercial spaces.Each of these locations are given a rating for their level of quietness, rating from 1 to 5.
