This collection was part of my graduation project, completed under sponsorship of StudioB, New Delhi. StudioB is a multidisciplinary design studio looking to launch a home furnishings and apparel brand, Anhad. Inspired by infinite and timeless resonance, Anhad aims to provide products which are rich in intellectual luxury and completely organic to the well travelled and intelligent urban citizen.
Completed over a period of 6 months, the project involved research, design, and execution of a hand block-printed furnishings collection and a handwoven collection of stoles. The complete process and journey of the collection of stoles, has been documented in the form of the second volume of my graduation document, which can be viewed through the link below.

The collection ‘Harmony’ was a result of the culmination of various factors. The primary inspiration for this collection was drawn from the harmony in nature. While people have everything that could ever be required and more in today's consumer-oriented society, the importance of a peaceful and content existence seems, to most, a far-reaching possibility. Here enters the idea of harmony, and the chance to let minimal existence take over. Similar to what Taoism, Zen, and other eastern philosophies preach, human beings need to remove focus from possessing more, and look into the idea of living in harmony with the very least of material possessions in order to achieve peace, or nirvana, or a Zen state of mind.
The goal here then, is to remove the excess, to rise above and beyond the idea of ‘more’. The concept of a harmonious existence, where everything is just as it should be, just enough, was the primary inspiration for this collection.
All the stoles were woven in fine, natural cotton yarn on handlooms. The choice of material and technique went in synchronisation with the inspiration of the collection as well as the overall design principles of the brand, Anhad.
